The Overflow has started

The overflow has started. Hallelujah, praise the Lord!

Around June, I asked two of our church members if they had noticed anything about this overflow, we keep talking about. Some of you might know that 2005 was prophesied to be the “Year of Overflow”. I then started thinking what is meant with overflow and felt a bit confused, or at least, not really aware of its full meaning. I told them not to worry (at the same time giving myself courage) and said that the Lord had time to manifest overflow till 31st December, twelve midnight.
I started supporting my husband in leadership in our ministry in October 2004 and things have been going well; we are truly favoured by God and all hard work is being rewarded. It is true, I have witnessed slow but steady growth and many improvements. But, remember, this year was not prophesied the “Year of Improvement”! So I challenged God and asked: “Lord, where is this overflow”? Earlier this year, I had even started documenting the flowers in my garden as soon as they started blooming to see if there was any evidence there. I did notice many plants flowering at the same time, whereas I remember complaining last year that my garden seemed too green and not colourful enough. Complaint withdrawn. Thank you Lord, for the colours this year.
But, unfortunately, still no feeling of overflow, just uncertainty of what to expect.
I decided to ignore the state of my bank account, because looking there would defeat the purpose. Maybe the overflow was in the number of bills that find their way to our letterbox, but while jotting this thought on paper, I hear the admonishing voice of the Lord saying: “With overflow I mean showers of blessing”.
Faith is the evidence of things not seen, and I therefore decided that I should patiently wait, also knowing that the Lord’s Word never returns to Him void. Oh brother, how good it is to fill yourself with the Word and to have knowledge of Him.
At the same time, we had started looking for another building for our church, because we felt discontented with the school auditorium, where not only we did not feel welcome anymore, but we also got tired arranging and rearranging its inventory to suit church purposes.
We were not successful, at first, in finding suitable premises, in fact we even received a letter from the school director saying that they were going to terminate our contract by the end of August. But the Lord is good and we were directed to Eindhoven, our home town, where, just as was revealed to one of our sisters, a building was waiting for us!

Glory, glory, glory! Since 1st July, the overflow has started. We not only moved into our new building, one of our brothers bought a new church bus, just one week later. During our official opening we were blessed with 97 attendants from all over Holland. Thank you Jesus!
To top it all, we recently got an e-mail from Kenneth Copeland Ministries saying that the overflow has started. How strengthening to know He is working wonders everywhere.
The overflow has started, which means there is more to come! Lord, overflow our community with babies, husbands, jobs, financial breakthroughs, miraculous healings, residence permits, business opportunities and all our hearts’ desires in Jesus’ name.

Are you not excited by now? Do you not want to be part of the overflow? God is not a respecter of persons. Inasmuch as you keep his commandments, this means all of them (you break one, you break ‘m all!) and do not give up, you shall be rewarded in Jesus’ name. God is a covenant maker, not a covenant breaker. You, who were created in His image, who has been made the righteousness of God, who is an heir to the Kingdom, also stick to your side of this divine deal. You, yes I mean you, grab it, it is yours for the taking. But before taking anything, just ask yourself these questions: “Have I been living life in the fullness of Christ?”, “Has the overflow started in my life?” You see, the glass needs to be full before it can start overflowing, and more living water needs to be poured into it to keep it from diminishing or running dry. This living water is the Word of God, which you will find in the Bible. You only need to seek…

Overflow, harvest and judgment, three different words, but spiritually the same meaning. Is 2005 also the year of Judgment? It all depends on the seed you have sown in 2004. Let me have your opinion and experiences.
